Graphic editing programs

A website without graphics is rather like a bird without wings.

To liven up your site, to show what you sell, and to inform about your services you will need images.

There are a lot of graphic editing programs out there, and the very best is considered to be "Photoshop". The drawback with "Photoshop" is that it is also very expensive - around 650$, and it has a lot of capabilities that few people will ever need.

If you go down on the price scale there is "Paint Shop Pro", a very capable program that will probably help you do whatever you want in the way of photo manipulation.

Our favorite graphic program is a little gem from the British software house Xara.
It's called "webstyle", and this program will help you to customize web graphics at the click of a button.

With webstyle you can easily make Navbars and menus, animated banner ads, 2D and 3D headings, buttons, logos, dividers and bullets.
You can also create photo albums and edit your photos.

In addition "webstyle" have themed sets of web graphics, and complete themed web pages that you can use as templates for your site.

Customizing the various graphics is extremely easy, you choose font and font size, colors, text and the total size of your graphics, and the program will do the rest.
